The booking of services shall be governed by (i) these terms and conditions, (ii) the general terms applicable to the type of service (flight, hotel, flight + hotel, trip, car rental or any other service available on the website at any time), (iii) the special terms applicable to the booked service and (iv) the relevant regulations in force. Without prejudice to the above, the booking of package tours shall be governed by Chapter 4 of Royal Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, approving the amended text of the General Consumer and User Protection Law and complementary laws, and by the special terms agreed upon with users according to the wholesaler planning the package tour, Barceló Viajes being a travel retail company.
By making reservations or buying products/services from a package tour planner or supplier selected by the user, the user agrees to the terms and conditions set forth by said supplier (including, but not limited to, airlines, hotels or car rentals for products/services in the flight, hotel, flight + hotel or car rental categories) or package tour planners (for cruise voyages and/or package tours). These terms and conditions must be shown on the payment screen and must be accepted by the user before placing their order or confirming their booking.
The user agrees to the terms and conditions set forth by the supplier or planner they selected, including the payment of any amount due and the compliance with any rules or regulations governing rate, product or service availability.
The suppliers of products or services, and the organisers of holidays package, each within the limits of their respective duties, will be liable to the User for the obligations arising from the existing laws and the terms and conditions of sale of each of the products and services or holidays package contracted, and Barceló Viajes will not be liable for any products or services not provided directly.
All reservations made on our web will be recorded and therefore stored automatically in our system. Proof of this is the booking confirmation page, where the reference code is automatically assigned as well as all the booking details. In addition, the system automatically sends out an email to the client with information on the booking and instructions on the method of payment and delivery of travel documents. The purchase of any product will only be effective at the time that Barceló Viajes charges the total cost of the booking to the credit card supplier by the User, or once the amount of the purchase in cash or by means of providing proof of transfer has been received, and a booking may be cancelled up to that time by Barceló Viajes without the user having any right to claim.
By requesting confirmation of a booking the user agrees to authorise the relevant charge to the credit card supplied at the time of booking. Should the charge not go through to the credit card (denied), the User agrees that Barceló Viajes will not issue the booking made.
Prices shown on the website are inclusive of airport taxes except where noted. They do not include the cost of visas, or the exit duty from a country, which must be paid directly at the destination. Variations in the fare applicable due to late payment of the booking in the amount of airport taxes, from the time of booking until the time of issue of the ticket will be passed on to the customer.
Delivery of documentation.
Once payment has been received, Barceló viajes will deliver all travel documents by sending it directly to your email address whenever the booking allows for electronic documents or travel vouchers, or by sending it by courier to whatever delivery address was requested by the client, or delivering it at the Barceló Viajes branch selected by the client during the purchase process.
After making a reservation, the user must check the information about it and identify mistakes in the data included in it.
