We stayed in a family room (3 adults and one 4 y.o.) Room was clean, got a bathtub and got enough space to fit four single beds. It's not a luxury accommodation but if you got a car it's a very reasonable price hotel with a free parking, room service and good free wifi connection. Buffet breakfast was good, staff friendly and old Seville was just fantastic. Hotel was not busy but we are noticed that walls are not soundproof at all, so if you are traveling in a high season it could be very noisy at night. We chose this hotel beause 1) we received an excellent price, and 2) since we traveled by car, the location on the outskirts of Seville meant that we would not have to brave driving the city center streets. Also free parking was available. This hotel is a good option if these are your criteria. If you are looking for the lively atmosphere that you would get near the action of the city, you should look elsewhere. If you are not already aware, the hotel is inside the Olympic Stadium (built for a failed attempt at the Olympic Games). The hotel suited our needs fine. It was clean and modern, with a mini-bar fridge. The restaurant was good, and overlooked the interior of the stadium and the dinner buffet provided good value dining. One problem we had with the room was that the temperature control did not work. No matter what temperature setting, it blew warm air. Also, there was what appeared to be motorcycle driver testing or ground school in the large stadium parking lot outside, so lots of motorcycle sounds from morning until dark, if you have an outside facing room. On the positive side, the wi-fi in the room was fast and reliable. The C1 bus a short walk away will take you to the city center, while the C2 will take you back to the hotel, about 20-25 minutes each way. I would recommend this hotel, particularly for those who want to avoid driving the city center. Because we got a good rate, value for the money was good, and I was satisfied with that. The price was very reasonable and the opportunity to stay in such a unique venue (a planned Olympic Soccer Stadium) was just too much to pass by. The hotel was a little difficult to find and off the beaten path. However, free parking and fairly easy access into the old section of Seville was just across the river once you get your bearings. Me and my family went to Seville in the end of August, and stayed in Hotel Isla Cartuja. Arriving to the city, and following the plates that said "Estádio Olímpico", it was very easy to find the hotel. At the front desk, the staff was very nice, giving us very good directions and suggestions to our need's. The room was very big, with a nice view to inside the stadium, and to Seville. Very good bed, big and comfortable. The extra bed for my child was very good as well. The bathroom was excellent, very big, with everything that's necessary, big tub with quick hot water. The breakfast was excellent as well, with plenty of variety, and a nice view to the stadium... If you are going to visit Seville, or Isla Mágica, i strongly recommend this Hotel... It takes 3 minutes by car to arrive Isla Mágica, and 15 minutes driving to the very centre of the town (as the receptionist about parking in the centre, the best one is to park in El Corte Ingles). We were very happy with Isla Cartuja. The room was very big, clean and tidy. The room was well equipped with air con, TV and free WiFi. The breakfast and dinner were great with very compfy beds. Me and my family found this hotel to be very good, the staff was very nice, and helpfull, the hotel was beatifull and clean, free parking very close to the entrance, the room was huge as well as the bathrooms, the bed was good and the matress has a lot of support. I will be back if I need to stay.in sevilla, since sevilla hotel are much more expensive. the balcony faces a olympic stadium , and me and my son found it to be very exiting and new to us., please call them in advanced to get driving directions especially if you arrived when is dark. Let us face it; Hotels in Seville Spain are very expensive especially at Semana Santa. Unless you want to spend the big bucks for a city center apartment or hotel rental, you will be looking for alternatives. Hotel Isla Cartuja is a close alternative. The worst part of the experience is finding the entrance. The complex is seedy looking and poorly maintained on the exterior. The hotel takes up a very small part of the property and we spent an hour trying to find out how to get to the gate that contains the hotel. They really could provide better signage. The hotel is clean, efficient, and small. You really need a car to get to the city center. There is a public bus but you have to walk through a seedy deserted area with teenagers and skateboarders partying at all hours. Once on the bus you have to make sure you know exactly what stop to get off at for the city center because the bus drivers are not helpful. If I were to visit Seville, again I would pay the money to stay in the city center. If you want a clean small room and a transportation nightmare stay at Eurostars Isa Cartuja.
